The plot revolves around two well-meaning Hillbillies, Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine), who plan on repairing their new vacation home - a rundown cabin beside the lake in the woods. Unfortunately, a group of prejudiced college students decided to go camping there as well.
Their preconceived ideas of hillbillies have them suspicious of Dale and Tucker when they rescue one of the girls who fall into the lake. To make matters worse is their camp’s history – a group of teenagers were killed by hillbillies there leaving only one survivor who was so traumatized she had to be hospitalized for the rest of her life.
The misunderstanding leads to a number of accidental deaths that looks like scenes from Final Destination.
The students while trying to kill the hillbillies end up dying in very creative ways like diving head first into a wood-chipper and self-impalement. The hillbillies are truly baffled and assume the students have planned a mass suicide.

Harmless Hillbillies or maniacal murderers? |
Not only that, we are also given a glimpse of what may come in the beginning. A badly hurt and disfigured Chad (Jesse Moss) is caught on film killing a journalist and her cameraman then the story goes back and explains how this came to be.
You’ll find elements of classic teenage slasher films like Halloween, Final Destination, Wrong Turn and much more but the story is as original as can be.
